Wow - what a concert we had on the hottest day of the year so far. The audience braved the heat to be entertained by two choirs with very different styles.

Men2Sing, with Musical Director John Trent Wallace and Accompanist Clare Benson delighted the audience with their renditions of pieces such as I'm Still Standing, Walking On The Moon and Take Me Home, Country Roads. These were sung to backing tracks supported by Clare on the keyboard. They also treated us to a lovely arrangement of The Lord's Prayer which was accompanied by Clare.

Chelmsford Male Voice Choir, with Musical Director Paul Smith and accompanist Sue Edwards delighted the audience with favourites such as Ave Maria, Nothing Like A Dame and American Trilogy. 

The audience were also treated to two songs sung by both choirs: Gwahoddiad, conducted by Paul and Bui Doi, conducted by John.

It was a fabulous evening and we hope that we will be able to join together for another concert.

Many thanks as always to our audience for supporting us, our front of house team and everyone who helped behind the scenes. We would also like to thank the Deputy Mayor and her Consort for taking the time to attend the concert as well - very much appreciated.
