We were delighted to have been invited to attend the Great Waltham Festival of Choirs.
'The Festival of Choirs in Great Waltham Church was nothing short of a triumph. The choirs sang individually and collectively with great confidence and spirit with every rendition met with rapturous applause. Among the choirs on show were the Village Choir and, a particular delight for a packed audience, a choir from the Village School who, from their beaming smiles and excitement, clearly had an unforgettable evening.'
Chelmsford Male Voice Choir not only sang in their own right, but also joined with Great Waltham Village Choir to sing an unforgettable rendition of Can You Feel The Love Tonight, which went down really well with the audience and GWVC have already asked when they can sing again with CMVC.
The community song at the end - As Long As I Have Music was fantastic and was sung by all choirs that participated in the evening. A good choice of song that turned out to be quite emotional with 100 voices singing together.
You will hear us next at High Chelmer Shopping Centre on Saturday 15th June from 12.00 pm - 2.00pm as we support Farleigh Hospice.
The next concert is on 19th July when Men2Sing will be our guests. Tickets are available now from our website.
