Seasonal Sounds - An Autumn Concert - 19th October 2024

Our concert at All Saints Church in Writtle started off with the Police Band playing a rendition of Knights Templar - a rousing march. CMVC followed this up with Anthem and You'll never Walk Alone.
The concert continued with CMVC and Essex Police Band taking turns to entertain the audience, with Paul (MD of CMVC) and Dave (MD of EPB) giving some information about each piece..
The concert finished with a joint number - cwm rhondda, conducted by Dave Rowland - the band master of Essex Police Band.
It was a bit of a squeeze with both groups - with CMVC performing from the pews, but the pieces were well received by the audience.
We would like to thank the audience for supporting us.
Our next concert will be a Christmas themed one on 14th December, at Trinity Methodist Church and we are delighted to welcome Selion Swing Band who are joining us.
