We're just a few days away from our first concert of the year and what perfect timing to receive our brand new CMVC Summer shirts that look fabulous. Alan will be bringing these with him tonight for distribution by the section leads, along with our brand new concert folders which I must say look extremely professional. Massive thanks to Sue for arranging all of this. Details for timings for the concert can be found in the next section. Our very own Paul was on Chelmsford Community Radio last night talking about the choir, recruitment and the upcoming concert. You can listen to it >> HERE << Paul's section begins at 1:47:30.

CMVC Summer BBQ: Alan has very kindly offered up his humble abode to host a Summer BBQ for the choir on Sunday 20th August. Food will be supplied at a cost of £10 per head, and you are asked to bring your own drinks. I would like to start to pull together a list of attendees, so could all members confirm their attendance (or not) via the event on the website. We appreciate not everyone will be able to make this due to holiday season, but it would be fantastic to see as many of you and their better halves as possible. Time of arrival to be advised.
Trinity Concerts: The following are provisional dates for a further two concerts we plan to host at Trinity later this year, please put them in your diaries and we will confirm up further details as and when available. The dates are as follows: Saturday 30th September and Friday 15th December.
Danbury Concert: It has been confirmed that we will be doing a concert on Saturday 21st October 7:30pm at Danbury Church, further details will be provided via this bulletin and during rehearsals as and when available.
High Chelmer Christmas Concert: We can now confirm that we will be singing in Chelmsford precinct (near to Primark) on Saturday 2nd December @ 12:30pm in aid of Farleigh Hospice and will be an hour-long concert. Please put this date in your diaries, it would be great to have a good turnout.
CMVC Christmas Dinner: Please put Tuesday 19th December in your diaries, last year's event was highly successful with a fabulous turnout, it would be good to equal or better that this year. I am pleased to confirm we have booked the venue, so over the coming weeks I will start to pull together attendees and menu choices. I know, it's early, but these venues get booked up so quickly we had to act promptly.

Essex Lottery: At long last the Essex Lottery is back up and running, with the next draw this weekend having an added incentive with a European City Break up for grabs. We are still short of the 50-ticket target so please dig deep and purchase another line or two if you can, and for new members, get involved! It's a fantastic way to support the choir financially while also giving yourself a chance to win some serious cash.
Website: https://www.essexlottery.co.uk - Sign up for free if you don't already have an account and for more information.
CMVC cause: https://www.essexlottery.co.uk/support/male-voice-choir - make sure you click on this link to buy your tickets or search for "Male Voice Choir"
100 Club: Remember you can purchase more than one number and for any new members that would like to get involved, either email me or speak to Trevor or myself at a rehearsal. The more names in the hat the more funds for the choir, and you get the chance to slip £50 into your pocket each month! The winner for May was Trevor Smith, congratulations!
